New Zealand is a famous travel destination. From breathtaking scenery to rich and diverse wildlife, New Zealand has it all. And I’ve been very fortunate to have lived in this country.
When it comes to lifestyle, New Zealand offers great work/life balance, safety, temperate climate, solid education standards, and reliable healthcare system. On a personal level, living in this country had brought me and my family great joy and left us beautiful memories. People understand and respect different cultures here. Children learn about people with different cultural background and learn to respect from a very young age.

People are also highly aware and protective of environment and wildlife. It was quite an experience to watch wild seals doing their thing from just a few meters away.
Not to mention we saw this black swan couple raising their children near our street over a long period without getting any harm.

Nelson Lake National Park was one of our favorite moments from our south island campervan trip in 2017. The sight was simply breathtaking. With the fast moving cloud, we were able to see the landscape changing its color in all variety. Our son seemed to enjoy the huge open space with no one around us.
New Zealand is packed with things to do if you’re an outdoor type of person. Playing golf is affordable and there is abundance of open space for your dog and children throughout the country.
Now that we moved to Japan where things are slightly more fast-paced, I came to appreciate these little moments that I took for granted. In this blog and our youtube channel, we will be sharing our life experience in Japan coming from New Zealand where things are more slow and laid back.
